It's vacation time, ghouls, and Amanda and Sarah have an audio slideshow of stories and sites from cities they recently visited. Amanda opens with the Dunlora Farm House, aka the Dunlora Mansion, a former plantation estate near Charlottesville, VA with a spooky reputation that includes an evil witch and a mass murder. Sarah brings back some creepy treats from Providence, RI, where she visited the offbeat final resting place of the state's founder, Roger Williams, the fountain supposedly cursed by Edgar Allan Poe, and the artist's house that inspired H.P. Lovecraft. Other subjects covered include an in-depth ice cream discussion, a t-shirt trigger, and doing bong hits for William Penn.
Recommendations:
Amanda and Sarah highly recommend the new folk horror film Midsommar. Amanda recommends the Starz original series Ash vs. Evil Dead and the 1987 movie Dolls.
