Amanda and Sarah latch onto two important events from the history of vampires. Sarah exhumes the New England vampire panic and the tragic story of Mercy Brown. Amanda covers the vampire hysteria that took over most of Europe during the 1600s and 1700s. Other subjects covered include casting sexy Frankenstein, a childhood obsession with Garth Brooks, and a toothy Thai basketball team.
Recommendations:
Sarah only kinda recommends seeing the recently released film adaptation of The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters. Amanda definitely recommends watching another Sarah Waters film adaptation, The Handmaiden.
